Meet Dr. Mercado
Dentist Dr. Mercado completed her undergraduate at University of California, Irvine, and earned her doctorate degree from the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1997. She owned and operated a private practice in the Bay Area in Northern California for 16 years. In 2013, the family decided to relocate here, where Christian and family values are more suited for their family.
After getting acclimated to the Carolinas, Dr. Mercado wanted to create a first-class private practice, where there is integrity in the care provided to each client in the family’s new beloved town of Fort Mill.
Dr. Mercado is highly experienced in all phases of restorative dentistry. In addition to providing dental crowns, dental implants, and teeth whitening, she is certified and experienced for implementing Invisalign and sedation dentistry. She has advanced training in full mouth reconstruction and aesthetic dentistry from the Nash Institute, and dental implantology from Advanced Implant Educators.
Apart from being a dentist, Dr. Teresa Mercado is a wife and a mom to two young adults and a French bull-dog. She enjoys gourmet cooking for her family and friends, loves reading spiritual, personal & professional growth books. She also loves to play volleyball, table tennis, billiards and a new passion… Pickle Ball.
